Absent. Disengaged. Out of touch. Mary-Dulany James hasn’t shown up for Maryland in years — but Raj Goel will deliver for us.

I’m frustrated with elected leaders we only hear from at election time. And I’m frustrated when politicians tell us they’re helping hardworking families while those same families are paying more for electricity, groceries, housing, and just about everything else. Public service should be about more than speeches, promises and votes. It should be about showing up, listening, and delivering results that actually make people’s lives better. Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
