  • Nineteen people were charged in PA this week with healthcare schemes totaling more than $4 million—another reason why we need my False Claims Act to become law. My bill would make it easier for PA to recoup any ill-gotten funds. It passed the House last year but remains stuck in the Senate. I’ll keep fighting to get it signed into law. • Another $350K in state funding is coming home to the Johnstown Women’s Help Center. My seniority and experience and ability to connect state and local leaders—I brought a top aide to the House majority leader to the Help Center--is paying big dividends for Cambria County. • I'm asking city officials to join me in calling for resignations of the entire Housing Authority board. Johnstown's mayor and city council appoint members to the JHA board of directors. Thus, the mayor and council could appoint a new board committed to downsize public housing — and shut off the transient, out-of-town population that is stressing taxpayer-funded resources and our social service organizations. https://www.pahouse.com/Burns/InTheNews/NewsRelease/?id=143843

  • Real progress: I secured a $3 million grant to help fund this IBEW training center in Jackson Township. Construction is underway. I met with IBEW leaders, who told me about the need for this project due to high demand for qualified workers, and then I went to work pushing for the grant to make it a reality.

  • I obtained this $50K state grant for upgrades to Dee Dee Osborne Field at Roxbury Park--a new scoreboard and field improvements. Pictured with me are Johnstown City Council members Taylor Clark and Sam Barber; Mayor The Rev. Sylvia King; Osborne's wife Kathy; City Manager Art Martynuska; and Osborne's son Chance.

  • I'm hosting my next Senior Fair on Sept. 10 at Young Peoples Community Center in Ebensburg. We'll offer important information for seniors, and we'll make it fun with prizes, games, and vendors. It's a free event. RSVP by Sept. 3 by calling either of my district offices at 814-472-8021 or 814-536-8400.

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
