Why did I vote NO on a bill called the “Wyoming Energy Dominance Act”? Because a conservative-sounding name doesn’t make a $105 million government fund conservative. I strongly support Wyoming’s oil, natural gas, coal, uranium, and the hardworking people who power our state and our nation. But supporting Wyoming energy does not require handing state officials up to $105 million in public money to distribute through grants and subsidized loans to government-selected projects. I call that a slush fund. Government should not be picking winners and losers or redistributing your paycheck to the well-connected. That is not fiscal responsibility... it is welfare for the well-connected. My opponent can talk about fiscal responsibility. I have a voting record. I voted

I recently sat down with Dr. Jon Padfield to discuss warrantless mass surveillance and my proposal for the 2027 legislative session to prohibit warrantless mass surveillance in Wyoming. The government should not be tracking law-abiding citizens without a warrant. I have worked hard to defend your privacy and your constitutional rights, and I hope to earn your vote so I can continue that fight in Cheyenne.
