CODY HUTCHESON CALLS THE UNITED STATES MILITARY A “SOCIALIST INSTITUTION” Our military has defended this nation, protected our freedoms, and made extraordinary sacrifices throughout American history. Leadership isn't just about making promises. It's about showing up, and doing the work. As your State Rep, I've been working for the people of the 123rd, advocating for small businesses, fighting predatory lawsuits, protecting tourism funding, and supporting our local communities. These aren't just campaign talking points they're real issues. Leadership is measured by actions, not slogans. I would be honored to continue to serve as your representative.

Growth is good but it needs to be sensible and transparent when it's a development of this scale

I'm honored I was presented with the 2026 Farm Bureau Friend of Agriculture Award. Camden County Farm Bureau President Jim Sherrell awarded me with a very nice plaque at their annual dinner, and I had a chance to say a few words to the capacity crowd on hand. Fighting for our agriculture community has been a top priority of mine over my first two years and it will continue to be a priority as I move forward in the legislature. Our farmers, and all of the other supporting industries, are the life
