My opponent Mary Bentley voted to make it easier for utilities to raise rates and harder for the Public Service Commission to protect customers from those rate hikes (Arkansas Act 373 (SB 307)). Do you approve?

My opponent Mary Bentley has been strangely non-committal about--and, since the Conway protests in May, strangely silent about--data centers. (Why?!) I promise to fight for the people's right to decide whether they want the facilities in their communities. For one thing, I'd work to pass legislation preventing city councils and local governments from signing non-disclosure agreements obscuring vital information about noise, air quality, water usage, and power consumption!

My opponent Mary Bentley voted for a bill that lets power companies raise rates on Arkansas customers to help pay for plants they PLAN to construct in other states--even if those plants never get built. (Act 373) Does that vote reflect your interests?

My opponent Mary Bentley introduced legislation (HB 1610) to weaken the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act. Though eventually defeated by the Senate’s State Agencies & Governmental Affairs Committee, the bill would have allowed members of school boards or city councils to meet--without notifying the press--to discuss policy issues so long as fewer than one third of the members were present. Do you think this weakening of the Freedom of Information Act would have served the people's interests?

My opponent Mary Bentley introduced legislation (House Bill 1668) allowing barbers and hairstylists to be sued for giving teens and children non-gender conforming haircuts. Although the bill was later withdrawn, was it a good use of legislative resources and time? Wouldn't it have infringed parental authority--not to mention, as the Arkansas Attorney General warned, freedom of expression? What does this proposal tell us about her priorities?

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
