At this week’s trustee meeting, I brought forward a resolution to ensure Scioto Township is included in the full 10 mile visual impact study for the proposed PowerConneX project. We are well within that 10 mile radius. If the study is reduced to 2 miles, our township would be left out entirely, despite being close enough to see and experience potential impacts. This clip shows part of that discussion.

I’m a proud Republican, but I’ll say this too. For far too long, parts of the Republican Party in this county have operated like a closed circle. A small group, closed-door conversations, and grassroots voices pushed aside. That’s not what it should be. It should be open. It should be accountable. And it should belong to the people. Standing under the words “Vote. Vote. Vote.” at the Statehouse is a reminder of exactly what this is all about. We can’t ignore those that trust us to do the job

What does a bantam chicken riding a remote control car have to do with being a township trustee? More than you’d think. Years ago, like a lot of families around here, we raised chickens at home. One of them, a little black bantam, would actually hop on a remote control car and ride around the house. You’d think it would hate it, but it didn’t. It would wait for its turn and jump right back on. We had a meat bird named Buckeye too. He got so big we just didn’t have the heart to go through with

One thing I don’t do is bow to pressure. That’s a big part of why I’m running. I believe Scioto Township deserves a real voice in the county Republican Party. I’d appreciate your vote on May 5th.

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
