• Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David and the president of the Business Sector Presidency, Dubi Amitai, signed an agreement on Monday to update the value of convalescence pay for private-sector employees. Under the agreement, the value of a convalescence day will rise from NIS 418 to NIS 451.5, in accordance with an expansion order by the Ministry of Labor, enabling the agreement to apply to all employees and employers in the labor market. Meanwhile, in accordance with the update to the Consumer Price Index, the value of convalescence pay for public-sector employees was updated to NIS 511.6 per day, compared with NIS 471.4 in previous years
