• Simcha Rothman removed the CEO of the Association for LGBTQ Equality from the committee hearing because he is uncomfortable hearing the truth 👇🏼 Today we came to the Knesset to speak at the Constitution Committee about the legal advisers bill, to explain just how harmful it is to the LGBTQ+ community. The bill will make legal advisers in government ministries directly subordinate to ministers—a move that weakens the gatekeepers and will allow ministers to do whatever they please without legal checks and balances. But Rothman did not give us the right to speak—so here is the explanation we were not allowed to give: Splitting up and weakening the government's legal advisory system may harm the basic rights of the LGBTQ+ community
