At the follow-up hearing we held today on the Nes LaGoyim neighborhood, I insisted that the evictions must be stopped and frozen for a year. At the same time, genuine dialogue must be launched between the residents, the local authority and the Israel Land Authority, with the aim of reaching understandings and formulating an agreed framework that provides a fair response to all sides. Disputes can and must be resolved through dialogue, responsibility and agreement—not through force. I will continue working to ensure that the residents receive a proper, respectful and fair solution.
