• Timna Festival 2026 has ended, and this year we returned to our roots. Not as a slogan, but for real. Over the three intermediate days of Passover, we hosted thousands of visitors from Rosh HaAyin and beyond, who came to experience firsthand the heritage, music and traditions of Yemenite Jewry. In Rosh HaAyin, this heritage is part of the city’s story. It is found in the home built here by the founders, in the sounds, the language, the flavors and the traditions passed down from generation to generation. At the Yemenite Jewish Heritage and City Center, hundreds of children and families took part in tours and activities, met Yemenite grandmothers who demonstrated ancient crafts and shared traditions from home, and visited the moving exhibition by photographer Zion O
