• Meet Alexa Shoshana Gladstone, a registered nurse with 13 years of experience in the United States and another 6 years as a primary care nurse practitioner. She has treated more than 1,000 patients and has extensive experience lecturing in the field. She immigrated to Israel in August 2025, and by this past January had successfully passed the simulated licensing exam for registered nurse status in Israel. She says the exam was fair, well organized and translated into English to a high standard, accurately reflecting the required core knowledge while focusing on important global issues. • When Liza Berman immigrated to Israel, she brought with her a nursing certificate, professional experience, and one clear desire: to continue working in her profession 👩‍⚕️ To understand the recognition process in Israel, she sought information about the options available to her and received various inaccurate answers that did not reflect the process for recognition of professional status. After several months, she happened to meet another newly immigrated nurse, who referred her to the Nursing Administration department that supports and guides new immigrants through the professional recognition process. Liza enrolled in a licensing-exam preparation course at Shamir Medical Center, took the exam and passed it with great success
