• Due to the war and the special situation declared on the home front, and following an assessment with Ministry of Labor Director General Ruby Shemesh and professional officials, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labor Yariv Levin signed a general permit for employing security guards overtime, allowing the workday to be extended to 14 hours per day. The permit was issued to address the economy’s needs in the guarding and security sector at this time, the growing demand for security services, and the security challenges during this period. The signed permit will take effect today and remain valid until the end of the declaration of a special situation on the home front or until March 3, 2026, whichever comes first
