• Ahead of an agreement for workers at youth villages and the Administration for Rural Education, we held a negotiation meeting today with all relevant parties, including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, Histadrut Economics Department, the national committee of youth-village workers and the instructors. After a long period, we are more optimistic than ever, and it appears the good news is close. We have entered the drafting stage and will soon update you on developments. For now, we are keeping the labor dispute in force and hope we will not have to use it. Thank you to the workers, committees and everyone involved in the work. • New wage agreement for local-authority employees! The Maof supplement will be expanded and increased. Administrative-ranking employees in local authorities will receive a wage supplement for a professional grade that will not be affected by an increase in the minimum wage. In addition, the number of training hours will be reduced and a more up-to-date professional track will be opened. Representatives of the Maof Union met with the bank’s CEO, Shulamit Geri, Histadrut Jerusalem Region Chair Danny Bonfil, and employees’ committee chair Yair Ben Harosh.
