• In Maghar and Baqa al-Gharbiyye, the mayor boasts about achievements outside the municipality’s page! A local authority can speak to its residents, as an institution, about its programs, achievements, and projects; this is welcome and can strengthen transparency. But some authorities choose to use this for promotional-marketing videos, whose place is on the personal page of the elected representative (at their own expense, without exploiting the authority’s resources!).
