Inviting Guy Peleg to the city, someone who was part of a profound public failure that caused real harm to victims (who are our brothers—IDF soldiers!), is not just an innocent decision about a lecturer. This has nothing to do with right and left—harm to soldiers is harm to the state and the entire public. Most city residents believe in freedom of expression—and so do we.
