• We started early this morning with a site tour alongside the planners and contractors of the training facility at the Agam Shalosh complex, which is in the final stages of construction. We reviewed the work and toured the area around the complex to see the progress in developing the infrastructure and the overall site, in order to ensure that all those involved meet the target date we set. The final base layers have been laid on the fields, and turf installation will begin on the fields next week. The aluminum fittings in the locker rooms are being installed, and for the first time we have also decided to purchase yellow seats for the stands, in order to make the complex feel like home for our representative teams that will train there.

• What new sports activities would you like to see in Netanya in the coming year? ❓️ I chose to share with you two new activities we launched over the past two years, which held end-of-year events together with parents: ✅️ Anat Reuven’s roller-skating school, which is completing its second year at three locations in the city with more than 150 female athletes 🏆 ✅️ Sagi Muki’s judo school, which is completing its first year at two locations in Netanya with dozens of athletes 🏆 Anat’s and Sagi’s activities are just an example of the expansion of the Sports Corporation across the city, together with the wonderful staff of its Sports Department, led by Gil Hamer.

• As every Friday, I started the morning with a tour of the sports facilities we are advancing and meetings with the professional teams on the ground. I began the tour at the new sports hall at Alterman School, where final electrical connection work is currently being carried out ahead of its imminent opening. From there I continued to the training complex at Agam 3, and then traveled to Herzliya, where I met Oleg Kozak of the Olimp Club in Apollonia. During the visit, we held an important professional discussion in order to learn about and deepen our understanding of the management and operational model for the swimming facilities there. The knowledge and experience gained will help us prepare for the tenders we are issuing.

  כמו בכל יום שישי, פתחתי את הבוקר בסיור במתקני הספורט שאנו מקדמים ובמפגשים עם הצוותים המקצועיים בשטח. את הסיור התחלתי באולם הספורט החדש בבית הספר אלתרמן, שבו מתבצעות בימים אלו עבודות חיבור החשמל האחרונות לקראת פתיחתו הקרובה לפעילות. משם המשכתי למתחם האימונים באגם 3, ולאחר מכן נסעתי להרצליה, שם נפגשתי באפולוניה עם אולג קוזק ממועדון אולימפ. במהלך הביקור קיימנו שיח מקצועי חשוב במטרה ללמוד ולהעמיק בהבנת מודל הניהול והתפעול של מתקני השחייה במקום. הידע והניסיון שנצברו יסייעו לנו בהיערכות למכרזים שאנו

• Netanya residents, are you ready? The Sports Corporation, which I head, issued a tender this past week for the operation of snack bars and a VIP event space at Miriam Stadium. To create an enjoyable entertainment experience and encourage business and private events, new furniture was also purchased to upgrade the hall overlooking the pitch. We also issued a call for proposals that will turn the stadium into a huge event venue, on the field and in the stands! My thanks to the professional teams who worked on the tenders and the call for proposals, and to Mayor Avi Salma, who backed their implementation in order to improve the leisure experience for Netanya residents and the surrounding area.
