• Youth Candle at Mount Herzl 🕯️ This morning, a moving and meaningful event was held at Mount Herzl. Dozens of teenagers, service-year volunteers and pre-military academy students from youth organizations, academies and service-year programs came to light candles, lay flags and place personal postcards on the graves of those killed in the Swords of Iron War. The initiative was born from a personal and moving conversation between Shlomi Castro, CEO of the Council of Children's and Youth Organizations, and Avi Harush, father of Rif Harush, of blessed memory, who fell in Gaza. The conversation led to the understanding that on a day when our hearts are filled with joy at the return of the hostages, we also have a duty to remember and honor those who gave their lives so that we can return to living here safely.

  נר הנוער בהר הרצל 🕯️ הבוקר נערך בהר הרצל אירוע מרגש ומלא משמעות. עשרות בני ובנות נוער, ש”ש ומכיניסטים מארגוני הנוער, המכינות ושנות השירות הגיעו להדליק נרות, להניח דגלים וגלויות אישיות על קבריהם של חללי מלחמת חרבות ברזל. היוזמה נולדה משיחה אישית ומרגשת בין שלומי קסטרו, מנכ”ל מועצת ארגוני הילדים והנוער, לבין אבי הרוש, אביו של ריף הרוש ז”ל שנפל בעזה. מתוך השיחה נולדה ההבנה שביום שבו הלב מתמלא שמחה עם חזרת החטופים, יש גם חובה לזכור ולהוקיר את מי שנתנו את חייהם כדי שנוכל לשוב ולחיות כאן בביטחון. ה
