• This week marked 32 years since Israel’s first bus bombing, which took place in Afula, on Hativat 9 Street, claiming the lives of eight people and injuring dozens, most of them from Afula. Since then, the city has experienced many attacks alongside difficult wars, and despite the pain, we have always held our heads high and known how to grow stronger. • Heroism, continuity, and an unbreakable spirit. Yesterday, during the Kfir Brigade beret march graduation ceremony at the brigade memorial in Afula, a powerful moment took place that moved us all to tears: Dagan Laharoykima Zulet, father of the late Gary Zulet, a Kfir soldier who fell in the fighting in Gaza, placed the camouflage beret on the shoulders of his son Emmanuel, who proudly and courageously continues in the footsteps of his heroic brother. • The fourth HaSargel Race. Wow! The HaSargel Race, launched exactly three years ago, just one day before October 7, was held this morning for the fourth time and, as every year since the second race, in memory of those killed on October 7 and in the “Swords of Iron” war. It was a great honor for me to start the 21.1-km half-marathon race (and to run in it too 😀) and to be part of three thousand runners of all ages, including soldiers and fighters from various IDF units, among them fighters from our beloved Kfir, Navy, and Golani brigades; Tavor pre-military academy students; school students from all over the country; and many, many more, who took part this morning in one of
