• “28% of the world's adult population believe Jews talk too much about what happened in the Holocaust, and 20% of respondents have never even heard of the Holocaust,” according to data from our Global 100 survey. To mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day and 81 years since the liberation of Auschwitz, we compiled several alarming figures revealed in 2025 regarding antisemitism and anti-Zionism. These figures unfortunately chillingly recall processes that took place around the world before the Holocaust and led to it. We at the Anti-Defamation League continue to stand firm against every instance of antisemitism, in every country and region, to protect the Jewish people.

• A historic step in the struggle for Holocaust remembrance and against antisemitism: The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) adopted a resolution declaring that 27 January will be observed annually as an official Holocaust Remembrance Day within the organization, in accordance with the UN General Assembly resolution. Although about 83% of diaspora Jews live in the Americas, until now the OAS had no binding framework for observing International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The new resolution recognizes the importance of preserving memory, educating future generations and combating Holocaust distortion and denial.
