• “You look at us, but do you see us?” On the occasion of International White Cane Day, observed on 15 October, the Sarajevo Canton Sports Association for Blind and Visually Impaired Persons organized the traditional walk entitled “You look at us, but do you see us?” today, followed by an educational lecture for fourth-grade primary school pupils from this local community. • The elections are over, but life in Centar Municipality continues❤️ Today, reconstruction work began on Fra Anđela Zvizdovića Street, which is also a section of the Zero Transversal. The total contracted value of the works is KM 652,860, and funds for implementing the project are being jointly provided by the Sarajevo Canton Roads Directorate and Centar Sarajevo Municipality. • Since the moment I took over as mayor, I have insisted that we replace the water infrastructure before every street or pavement repair. It is well known that we drink water from pipes that are 50, 60 or even more years old. You can see some of them in the photos below, removed from Hiseta Street. The new plastic ones are long-lasting and, most importantly, are not a threat to health. We could have simply asphalted the streets, because that was always popular—it would have looked nicer, much more would have been done—but those roads and pavements would quickly have fallen apart

Nove, plastične, su dugovječne i što je najvažnije nisu prijetnja zdravlju.
