Bentonite clay is naturally occurring and not harmful. In fact, it’s so safe, it’s widely approved and heavily used for drilling drinking water wells. Yet, opponents of the Line 5 Relocation are making a big deal that 5-8 gallons of it was released, and then removed, from a creek in the project area. There’s a reason multiple government agencies and multiple judges have given the project a “green light”. The Line 5 Relocation project is well-designed, safe, and will protect the environment.

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
