  • Affordability isn’t just about whether you can pay your bills at the end of the month. Of course, we all need the basics: housing, food, heat, health care, and a livable wage. That’s the bread. But we need roses, too. We need time with the people we love. We need community. We need opportunities to enjoy our lives, save for the future, and give our kids opportunities of their own. When I talk about making Vermont more affordable, that’s what I mean. I want people to be able to build a good lif

  • When we talk about affordability, we’re talking about people’s everyday lives. Can you afford your home? Your groceries? Heat? Health insurance? Can you fix your car without worrying about which other bill won’t get paid? We absolutely need more housing in Vermont. We also need to make sure the people who are already here can afford to stay here. These issues are connected, and there aren’t always simple solutions. But I believe we can work together, look upstream, and make decisions that give everyone in our community a chance to thrive.

  • One thing I don’t talk about much is being one of the owners of our family business. My mom and dad bought Miles Supply back when I was at Spaulding High School, and then my brother and I (and a partner in GA) bought it from them in 2010. I have been working for Miles Supply since we moved back to Vermont in 1999. I enjoy helping to run a small business. You learn to wear many hats and work hard to take care of both your employees and your customers. Owning a small business means learning to be

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
