The recording should be public by now. It’s been almost 3 years. Where is it? In 2023, nurses raised concerns about HCMC, our public safety-net hospital. That November, my opponent chaired a closed-door meeting about the hospital. The recording was supposed to become public after two years. It’s still missing. In May 2026, the state legislature had to step in with $705 million in taxpayer money to keep HCMC open. Our families depend on this hospital, and our tax dollars help keep it running.
