Long post. Grab a minute……. Here is a hard truth a lot of people do not want said out loud. A lot of the loudest black voices in this country are intelligent, talented, and effective in many areas. That is exactly why this matters. My issue is not their ability to think. My issue is that too many of them have been trained to run nearly everything through the same narrow filter: oppression, grievance, blame, and power. Too many colleges, universities, and yes, HBCUs too, have spent decades fee

The devil—and the “white man”—don’t have to destroy you when your own choices are already doing the job. Too many of us give both more power than they have. We blame the devil for what we willingly entertain, then turn “the white man” into a god by laying every failure, broken home, and lost opportunity at his feet. One pattern doing real damage in parts of the Black community is how quickly PRIDE turns correction into disrespect. Discipline gets clowned. Wisdom gets treated like weakness. Foolish behavior gets defended as being “REAL.” Some people would rather protect an EGO that is ruining their life than admit they made a bad decision. And the bill rarely stops with them. Their children usually pay part of it too.

America is the most opportunity-filled country Black people have ever lived in. That does not mean America has no sins. It means America’s sins are not the whole story. Black history here is not just slavery and suffering. It is faith, family, courage, service, preaching, business, education, leadership, sacrifice, and overcoming. I refuse to reduce my people to victimhood just because grievance politics needs a permanent wound to stay in business. I can acknowledge America’s failures witho

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
