Are you getting your money’s worth from the Mental Health Tax? At our last County Board meeting, the majority of the current Winnebago County Mental Health Board members were nominated for reappointment. It is the County’s policy for appointments to lay over for 30 days to allow for community input and for analysis by County Board members. All of these Mental Health Board members have been serving with expired terms for a very long time. There was no urgency to finalize these appointments.
