  • Your house is a lifetime of labor. The record on it should be treated that way. Deed trouble does not look like a break-in. It looks like paper. A bad lien. A document that should not be on the books. Search what is recorded. Sign up for a free property alert if something new hits your home. • Most people never think about the Register of Deeds. That’s normal. I’m Matthew Boucher. I keep the official record on your house, and the books that go back to the 1700s. You can still talk to a person here. This is a county office. Re-elect Matthew Boucher on November 3rd Kennebec County Register of Deeds

  • Grateful for this endorsement from Allyssa Marson. She grew up in Augusta, and her family has a long history of community involvement. Thank you, Allyssa.

  • A man from Quebec moved a house down the river and set it on Water Street. Waterville was still a Yankee town. The Lockwood Mill was not built yet. There was no Catholic church. His name was Jean-Baptiste Mathieu. The 1902 centennial history calls him the first French Canadian to settle here. He came in 1827. By 1831 he and his wife Sarah Dostie were living in that house at what is now 134 Water Street.

  • I met Loren Fields more than ten years ago. I don't particularly remember how. A lot of us are in that boat. You crossed paths with him in Augusta, or you were one of the students he taught to love instruments. No matter what, he finds a way to brighten your day with that particular energy of his. I'm grateful for his support of my re-election as Register of Deeds.

  • A Maine boy drew a Valley Forge veteran on Winthrop Street. Then he painted Lincoln. People walk past 61 Winthrop in Augusta every day and never know it. Eastman Johnson lived in that house. He sat his neighbors there for three days for a portrait. One of them was Henry Sewall.

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
