One of our most important responsibilities as Americans is understanding who we are putting into public office. Elections should be about more than party labels, slogans or name recognition. We should take the time to learn where candidates stand, look at their records and understand how their decisions could affect our communities. Self-government only works when the people stay informed and engaged. Voting is a right, but taking the time to understand who we are voting for is part of our civ

PUCO doesn’t have a strategic plan to deal with rising electricity demand, data center growth, and new policies they need to follow due to 2025 legislation.

Ohio keeps trying to fix property taxes and school funding like they are two different problems. They’re not. A big part of why property taxes are so high is because we still rely way too much on them to fund our public schools. That means homeowners keep getting squeezed, and school districts in poorer communities are expected to raise money from a much smaller tax base than wealthier communities. I believe Ohio needs to move back to a progressive income tax and start using income tax revenue

It only works when people understand their rights, understand what their representatives are supposed to do and are willing to hold them accountable. The Federalist Papers talk about representation as a public trust. Elected officials are supposed to use their judgment to serve the people, not blindly follow a party, or donor. Somewhere along

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
