  • In the late afternoon of June 17, 1874, Lavinia Goodell (1839-1880) went to the Rock County Courthouse in Janesville, Wisconsin and, after passing a brilliant examination, walked out as Wisconsin's first woman lawyer. In addition to practicing law, she worked tirelessly for women's suffrage, married women's rights, and served as a mentor and example to many. Her impact is still felt today. Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
