Sheriff P.J. Tanner is endorsing Hower for District 5. Nearly 30 years. Seven terms. One of the most respected law enforcement leaders in South Carolina history. Sheriff Tanner has spent his career serving and protecting Beaufort County, and I'm honored to have his endorsement and full support heading into the June 23rd runoff. That trust means everything to me and I won't take it for granted. If you know Sheriff Tanner, you know his word carries weight. I intend to bring that same standard o

Joe Maiorano is endorsing Hower for District 5. Joe ran on the same things I ran on. Smart growth. Developer accountability. Protecting the Lowcountry from being overdeveloped into something unrecognizable. He earned 529 votes in District 5 from people who care about this community. I'm honored to have his support heading into the June 23rd runoff, and I'll carry that trust with me onto the council. If you voted for Joe in the primary, I want to earn your vote on June 23rd. Once it's gone, it's gone. There's no un-developing a marsh. The Cultural Protection Overlay on Pine Island exists for a reason. The communities it protects, their history, their land, their way of life, are irreplaceable. A developer bought that land knowing the overlay was there. Defending it isn't anti-development. It's basic accountability. I'll defend every historic and protection overlay in District 5 like it's the last one, because eventually, it might be. Hower for District 5 · Vote

The roads can't handle it. Neither can the sewer. Or the schools. This isn't anti-growth. This is math. When you approve 53,000 new units without a coordinated infrastructure plan, roads, water, sewer, schools, you don't get a thriving community. You get gridlock, pressure drops, overcrowded classrooms, and a county scrambling to catch up with a check it can't write. Smart growth means building the foundation first. I'll make sure growth pays its fair share, and not a dollar less. Vote Hower

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
