One more term, or one new voice? District 3 has a real choice this year. I’m Jag Nagendra, an engineer with more than 35 years of experience and over a decade on city and county boards. I’ve spent years learning how local government works, and I’m ready on day one. My vision is simple: a Folsom where every resident feels safe, valued, and included. Ballots are in your mailbox. Your Neighbor. Your Voice. Folsom is home to all of us. For two and a half years I’ve been out knocking on doors, sitting in living rooms, and listening to neighbors across District 3. I’m Jag Nagendra, an engineer, mentor, and longtime community volunteer. I’m running for Folsom City Council to bring 35 years of real experience to the things that matter most: infrastructure that keeps pace with growth, honest budgeting, public safety, good local jobs, and the parks and trails we love. Folsom is better when more

Two and a half years ago, when I started this campaign, I knew the odds. My opponent has name recognition and outside support, and I'm an immigrant and a first-time candidate. I started anyway. Since then, we've knocked on thousands of doors, listened to neighbors, and built a campaign powered by volunteers who believe Folsom can do better. What I keep hearing is that people want change when things aren't moving. I trust the residents of Folsom. You know what's best for your city, and you will

A fair question deserves a real answer, so here it is. My plan for Folsom is published in full on jag4folsom.com/plan covering infrastructure, fiscal sustainability, public safety, economic development, and our parks and trails. I'd encourage anyone asking to go read it directly. But I also want to be upfront about something important. I will be one vote on a five-member council. I can't unilaterally implement anything, and no honest candidate can promise otherwise. What I can promise is this:

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
