  • America's food supply depends on a global supply chain that is vulnerable to disruption. The energy, raw materials, and nutrients that grow our crops move through trade routes, shipping lanes and foreign markets that operate on their own terms. When any part of that system is disrupted, the cost of growing food goes up. American farmers and families absorb the hit. Food security depends on more than what we can grow. It depends on reliable access to everything required to grow it. Right now, t

  • Potash comes largely from Russia and Belarus. Sulfur ships from the Middle East. Livestock feed depends on vitamins China supplies. Every one of those is a country or region where a single conflict, sanction, or export order can cut off American farmers overnight. Fertilizer and feed aren't optional inputs. They're what grows the food on the table. A food supply built on that many single points of failure isn't secure. It's exposed.

  • Food doesn't get to the grocery store by accident. It relies on a vast, global supply chain—and every link depends on the one before it. Today, that supply chain is under assault. Foreign instability, weather, and war are disrupting the critical trade that keeps each link strong—from fuel and fertilizer, to sulfur and feed. Eventually, every American feels it at the grocery store. That’s why America cannot rely on unstable places to feed our country.

  • Foreign adversaries are influencing what ends up on your dinner table. The food on your table didn't get there by accident. It got there through a supply chain that runs through some of the most hostile places on earth, controlled by people who don't have America's interests at heart. Most Americans have no idea how fragile that system is. It’s time to change that. Your food supply has a foreign policy problem. Follow along. We're not staying quiet about it.

  • A shipping lane closes, or a foreign buyer cuts off exports, and suddenly the sulfur farmers need isn't there when they need it. Sulfur prices are already up about 10x in under two years, and almost half the world's sulfur ships from a region still at war. Farmers can't afford to wait for that to settle. Keeping American sulfur for American farmers first is what protects the food supply from that kind of disruption. Tell your legislators to keep American sulfur for American farmers: https://f

  • The ingredients that grow America’s food are caught in the middle of three global crises at once. The Middle East supplies half the world’s traded sulfur, a key ingredient in the fertilizers that grow our food. War in Eastern Europe has disrupted some of the planet’s largest sulfur producers. And China has gobbled up US-made sulfur, while restricting fertilizer exports—leaving the rest of the world to scramble. Three crises, one result: American farmers are facing the highest fertilizer cos
