**Please Share** My opponent will say anything to get elected. In 1986, Clark County passed an ordinance requiring businesses to pay a net profit tax. For decades, some large businesses exploited vague wording in that ordinance to avoid paying — while others paid their fair share for nearly 40 years. ***Additional Paving*** One month into my term, a major rain event devastated Dry Fork Creek Rd. It took 75 tons and 3 triaxle loads of patch just to make it passable. It hadn’t been paved since the early 1970s. Elkin Station Rd was just as bad—decades without paving. Howards Creek Rd was our most expensive road to maintain—and had never been paved.
