What impressed me most was the sheer scale of the need. Food insecurity isn't something that only affects distant communities, it impacts families, seniors, veterans, and children throughout western Iowa as well. Behind every meal distributed is a neighbor who simply needs

I am deeply grateful for the incredible support we received at our sold-out fundraising event Thursday evening at Napoli’s Restaurant in Council Bluffs. Our silent auction was also a tremendous success, and I sincerely thank everyone who contributed. A special thank-you goes to our evening’s sponsors: former Iowa State Senator and House Representative Mike Gronstal, and former Iowa House Representative Charlie McConkey. I also want to sincerely thank my fellow candidates, Ben Schauer, who is r

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
