Affordable housing only works if the housing is actually livable. I’ve been displaced from my apartment twice this year for repairs. And I know I’m not the only renter dealing with leaks, broken heaters, endless construction, bad repairs, and landlords who don’t seem to be held accountable. Tenants shouldn’t need to become experts in code enforcement just to get basic problems fixed. City Hall should make it easier to report problems, get answers, and make sure landlords actually maintain the

Santa Monica could use a little more Big Dad Energy. See a problem. Fix it. Take responsibility. Get things done. Less politics. More competence. That’s the energy I’m bringing to City Council. #EliGill #SantaMonica #BigDadEnergy #SantaMonicaCityCouncil #RelyOnEli

Vote for Eli Gill. Just a few days left until the election. Safe streets. Abundant housing. Clean public spaces. Strong schools. A vibrant local economy. That's the Santa Monica I'm fighting for. After 20+ years living here, raising my family here, and seeing what works and what doesn't, I believe we can do better. I'm not running to represent one side or the other. I'm running to make our city work for everyone. Common sense. Independent thinking. Real results. You get three votes for Cit

I'm not going to be everyone's first choice. But I'd be happy to be your third. 🗳️ I love Santa Monica. I've lived here for over 20 years, and I know how much better this city can be. Safe streets. Good schools. Homes people can afford and landlords actually maintain. Thriving local businesses. Clean, safe public spaces. This shouldn't be controversial. It should be the basics. I'm not running to represent a political slate or pass anyone's purity test. I'm running because I think we can do

Apparently the best way to explain who I am is with a proper narrator. So, this is me: dad, renter, operations guy, obsessive fixer of things, and (for reasons that seemed good at the time) candidate for Santa Monica City Council. A little self-deprecating, a little too accurate, and probably the best introduction to me yet. If you want to see a Santa Monica with clean and safe streets, a vibrant local economy, and more housing so you and maybe even your kids can actually afford to live here

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors. Each ad counts in the week its delivery started, with its lifetime spend at our last pull; ads still running before the vote are counted as of 31 October 2026.
