When someone who knows firsthand what it means to serve District 9 puts their confidence in you, that means a lot. Mike Skala currently represents District 9 on the McHenry County Board, and I'm grateful for his endorsement and his trust in me to represent our community. What I especially appreciate about Mike's words is his emphasis on integrity, honesty, and putting people before politics. Those are values I take seriously, and they're at the heart of why I'm running. Here's what Mike had t

I've been doing a lot of reflecting lately. With Election Day just around the corner, I've been thinking about everything this experience has taught me. Not just about politics, but about people, relationships, accountability, and myself. Some of those lessons have been encouraging. Others have been uncomfortable. Over the last year I've been approached time and again by people encouraging me to look into legal matters involving my opponent and businesses associated with him. For a long time, I chose not to make those accounts part of my campaign. But eventually, I decided to examine the publicly available court records for myself rather than rely on what others were telling me. Ok, let me give this a try. 😝 First, I humbly beg forgiveness from the creative gods for my use of generative AI this one time! 🙏🎨🫣 Anyway… The steak and lobster are imaginary. The $7,429.64 campaign expenditure to Niko’s Grill & Pub is NOT. Artificial food. Real campaign spending. And when the candidate is also the vendor, I think it’s fair to ask who’s really benefiting. 🤷♀️ Source: Illinois State Board of Elections, campaign finance disclosures - Q3 D2 report.

Well, this is a first! 😂 Apparently, the McHenry County Republican Party has decided I’m worth a countywide text campaign. And the worst they could find is that I’ve talked about white privilege and toxic masculinity and helped organize people to participate in local school board elections? Yep. I did those things. I stand by my words, my values, and my record. And I especially appreciate their reminder that I could win. 💜 A neighbor, not a politician.

Figures cover domestic political ads paid in dollars, from 4 May 2026. Spend is the sum of Meta’s range midpoints; impressions above one million are reported as “1M+”, so impression figures are floors.
