It’s been an honor getting to connect with the amazing people that make up District 6. While we’re disappointed at the outcome of this election, we’re proud of the support we ended up with. We fell 90 votes short of the General — but I get two years I’ll never get back with my daughter, and that’s a trade-off I can live with. Why did it take so long to get our campaign signs out? Because we refused to buy hundreds of plastic signs & vinyl banners that would eventually end up in a landfill. Instead, we got creative — reused, upcycled, kept it local, and hand-made our own signs out of old, donated ones. I'm the type of candidate who sticks to their values, finds creative solutions, and doesn't take the easy way out. That's mālama ʻāina in action ♻️ 🤙
